Summary

Legend says the God of the Afterlife gave his heart to one human girl to keep her as his eternal bride. Their love is loyal, their love is forever, and their love is a prison for the eighth reincarnation of Mei Shi. Raised in a secluded shrine to become the perfect bride, Mei Shi refuses to be humanity’s peace offering to the Afterworld any longer, especially after discovering the God of the Afterlife's true cruel nature.
