Summary

Set before the events of the original “Blood Rain,” this prequel follows a group of young men in Sokcho, Gangwon Province, who organize a street association to protect their local businesses from regional gangsters. Despite their efforts, continuous confrontations lead them to be branded as gangsters themselves, closing off their futures. At a crossroads, their leader Hyun Taecheol declares, “If that’s the way it’s going to be, let’s go to Seoul and become true big shots.” Together with loyal friends like Kwon Tae-soo and Kim Min-kyu, they head to Seoul, determined to survive and rise in the ruthless, unfamiliar world of the big city. This is the harrowing record of their youthful struggle for survival and power in the gritty underworld before the rise of the “Blood Rain” legends.
